Russell Senate Office Building
Construction of new emergency generator system vault below grade. DA Drenner Concrete provided design and engineering services for vault excavation, installed H-piles, lagging and tie-backs for support of excavation. Excavated and removed 5,000 cubic yards of spoils from jobsite. Underpinning of 120 linear feet on west side of building, lowering footing elevation 9′ below existing. Installed reinforcements. Formed and poured mat slabs, walls and elevated roof deck for new vault structure at Russell Senate Office Building in Washington D.C.
